Description

Description

I photographed Comet 103P / Hartley at about 4 am on October 8, 2010 as it was passing "through" the Perseus Double Star Cluster. The double cluster is actually about 7,000 light years away far in the background while Comet Hartley was passing through our solar system about 14 million miles from Earth at the time of this photo.
