Description

It has been a very productive week. I managed to achive a better distance between the reducer and the CCD, but the distance is not perfect yet. If the clouds won't get in my way, i'll try to optimize the distance tonight again.

The supernova remnant "Cygnus Loop" is way bigger than this part, which is called the "Eastern Veil Nebula", but it is so fantastic when it comes to structures and colors. Sadly later that evening thin, high clouds made some of the subs hard to use, so i believe i lost some sharpness and structures due to the clouds.

The supernova exploded about 21.000 years ago. Fun fact: No one has ever found the remnant of the star itself. By measuring the masses it should be a neutron star, but all efforts of finding it were not successful.
