Description

SH2-114 is a HII-emission region in Cygnus. It seems to be little studied. Even though it resembles a supernova remnant, there has been no candidate SN found so far, so it is probably interstellar gas that is formed by magnetic fields.

The new mount performed great out of the box. At 2m FL I can do 5 min unguided and I have guided accuracy of 0.2-0.3" RMS. No more fiddling with the mount, I hope. Also, I seem to have finally gotten the hang of collimating the RC. The trick was to follow the procedure outlined by CFF - but to iterate the steps several times.
