Description

The Tadpoles and Flaming Star Nebulae - (IC 410 && IC 405)

Taken during the new moon of November, the Tadpoles (right) and the Flaming Star (left) are two beautiful diffuse nebulae located in the Auriga constellation, a few degrees from the epic Spaghetti and enough to make Auriga my favorite constellation.

This image is about 3 hours of integration time from dark skies, acquired during the new moon of November where these objects were still very low at horizon (between 20 and 35 degrees). Not the best condition for imaging DSO, but it was a perfect compromise to focus on the Spaghetti, which was the main target back then.

Under the hood:

ZWO ASI-183mm cool, Samyang 135, Celestron AVX

HOO combination

36x5minutes, gain 111, -15 degrees
