Description

Barnard 147 is a narrow, snake-like dark nebula in the Cygnus constellation. It is a well-defined dark lane near open cluster NGC 6871. 146 is the larger dark area up and right from 147, which is the central object that looks a bit like a shark.

I decided to follow Peter Jenkin's AIC recipe here but also maximize the General Hyperbolic Stretch (GHS) aspects.  Just used H-alpha and O-III with an emphasis on the O-III to bring out the blue background.  These are the 16 best images from 48.  GHS worked well to crank out detail. Stars are the artificial combo Jenkin's suggests.
