Description

This image shows a region of interstellar material and dust illuminated by nearby stars as well as the galaxy, NGC 7013, peeking out from underneath the cloud. The nebulosity in this image has catalog entries in PGCC (Planck Catalogue of Galactic Cold Clumps) as Molecular Clouds. The PGCC objects with areas listed are PGCC G075.46-11.06 and PGCC G075.24-10.99. The galaxy, NGC 703 is a ring galaxy classified as SA0/a(r). It is about 41.1 million light years by Tully Fisher estimate and 49.9 million light years by redshift estimate. These objects and some of the brighter stars are identified in the annotated image.
