Rented the Sigma Art 105mm f/1.4 from lenstrentals.com. Tried it out with my new modded Nikon D800 while traveling.
Shot over 3 nights in rural Northern Wisconsin. I was often fighting thin clouds and dew, but nice dark skies. Average SQM was 20.75. I shot this all at f/2.0, ISO800. I used the intervalometer built-in to the camera, which I think is limited to 30s exposures.
This is sort of accidentally a 2-panel mosaic, but there is a lot of overlap. It was a happy accident because I like the framing in the end. Tried to get guiding working again on the SmartEQ Pro+, but with the thin clouds it was a losing battle, kept losing the guide star. Ended up going unguided and just blinking the subs to find the good ones.
