Description

M17, or the Omega Nebula,in the constellation pf Sagittarius, is one of the largest, brightest and youngest star-forming regions in the Milky Way. It is illuminated by radiation from the young, hot stars which are progressing through their adolescence within the cloud.

This is a composite image of narrowband filters in the light of H-alpha, Oxigen and Sulphur
