Description

I found this interesting picture deeply embedded in my hard drive.  I feel I got to share it here.

This is taken with two color reversals: Kodak E100S (+1 push) and Fujifilm Velvia 100F (+1.5 push).  The Velvia one was taken with Pentax 67, so it has higher resolution. However, Velvia is not very sensitive to H-alpha, so it lacks red nebulas. On the other hand, Kodak E100S is highly sensitive to H-alpha. So I added these two images together.

The two slides were taken in 2003 and 2006. Unfortunately I can't tell when the scanning and digital composition was done.  Could be 2006, or as late as 2010 (which is when the file was copied over and stayed untouched since then, based the file system record).  If the file name does not reveal the true identify of this image, just by looking at the image itself, I wouldn't have guessed it is my film work from 15 years ago. It is not too much worse than my digital version of Scorpius, which probably means I haven't advanced my skills enough in the past decade.

I can't find any record of publishing this picture by looking at my old website.  I feel necessary to publish it to leave a permanent record for this picture. This is why it's here.
