Description

After a hard time I am back again.

Here is one of my favorite objects in the night sky.
Both galaxy-groups lies in the constellation of Pegasus.

Stephans Quintett:
Its a group of 5 galaxies discovered by the french astronomer Édouard Jean-Marie Stephan at 22.09.1877.
It consists the galaxies: NGC 7317, NGC 7318A, NGC 7318B, NGC 7319 und NGC 7320C
Distance: around 300 Million lightyears.

Deer Lick Group:
This group also known as the NGC 7331 group. The group has his name after the amateur astronomer Tom Lorenzin had a incredible view of it from the Deer Lick Gap. The Deer lick Gap lies in the mountains of the American State "North Carolina". The  distance of NG C 7331is  around 46 million light years.
NGC 7331 lies in the foreground and is also the namesake of this group of galaxies. This galaxy was dicoverd by W. Herschel.

I hope you enjoy!
