Description

I recently learned that the central portion of the Veil Nebula is called Pickering's Triangle a piece of which is designated NGC6974. The Veil Nebula, in constellation Cygnus, is a supernova remnant formed approximately 15,000 years ago and is about 2400 light-years distant.  The source supernova was a star 20 times more massive than our Sun.  It would have appeared brighter than Venus and would have been visible in daytime. [Wikipedia]. It is an often photographed deep sky object due to its intricate colorful weaving.  It is of surprising astronomical beauty.

Here is my version.  I pursued a new to me capture process.
Approximately 10 hours of integration was gained by shooting both rigs at the same target the same night.
