Description

M77 is one of the closest and most studied active galaxies (AGN/Seyfert) in the sky. It is both extremely bright (the center) and extremely faint (the outer arms). So processing requires the tools of both kinds of objects. It is something like an "Orion Nebula" galaxy (if that makes any sense).
Even at this resolution, the details of the spiral arms/dust lanes really requires a space-based platform.
That being said you can kind of fall in.. and perhaps beyond towards the other distant galaxies in the background.
Due to the brightness of the galaxy- this data was acquired as a straight-up RGB image.

Perhaps you might compare with large telescope images of the same. E.G. https://www.astrobin.com/152634/B/?q=m77&camera=
