Description

IC 2631 at 500 LY is situated close to the southern celestial pole and, as such, it is easilty visible for most part of the year from the southern hemisphere. A newly formed star lights up the surrounding cosmic clouds to create the blue reflection nebula IC 2631 at the centre of the gas and dust clouds in the southern constellation of Chameleon.

NGC3620 is a spiral galaxy at 53.5M LY with a radial velocity (speed moving away from sun) of 1779 km/s.
