Description

Sh2-245 is a very large molecular cloud.  The brightest portion of it is shown here in this 5.4° wide field of view.  This is in SHO, the Hubble Palette.  Another nebula, the Veil Supernova Remnant shows interesting intertwined Hydrogen and Oxygen.  This one shows larger intertwined features in Hydrogen (green) and Sulfur (red).
