Description

This image was taken just a few minutes after totality during the total  lunar eclipse of 15 May 2022. I adjusted the settings to capture the detail in the emerging sunlit portion, leaving the portion still in shadow dark.

These were captured from the OKCAC observatory at Cheddar Ranch (CRO), about 40 miles west of Oklahoma City. Conditions were mostly clear, winds were from the north/northeast at 10-15mph, temperature was in the 70F-60F range.

I used manual settings in Live View. No post editing was performed.
