This is 6.6 hours integration captured over the last two nights under a nearly full moon in a Bortle 8 location. The seeing here has been great recently and guiding was working brilliantly with my 20yr old EQ6 at around 0.4 - 0.5" total RMS over the course of the two sessions, allowing me to shoot this bin1x1.

This is my second DSO image using any kind of scope (a few years ago I produce half a dozen images using a DSLR on a star adventurer with some old Takumar lenses). My first DSO image was the same object/filter last week but shooting Bin2x2

This is also my first use of pixinsight and it took pretty much all day just to calibrate, register and integrate this following the Light Vortex tutorial. Post process was levels and curves in gimp with a contrast increase and some noise reduction. I also had to use the clone tool to remove two dead columns which didn't get taken out in calibration for some reason.
