Description

Here's an image of Thor's Helmet-NGC 2359 taken with Telescope Live's PlaneWave CDK24/FLI ProLine PL9000 in Chile.  It's about 4 hours of H and OIII subs @300s. 
Thor's Helmet lies at a distance from Earth of 11,980 light-years and is around 30 light-years in size.  It's an emission nebula lying in the constellation Canis Major.  It's central star is a Wolf-Rayet star WR7 which ionizes the surrounding gases which has a mass of of several hundred solar masses.
