Description

I started other with a new version with the same idea I had with the image of  "NGC1097 in Fornax - closeup for details".

So with this version of NGC1365 , I try to keep as much detail as possible for a close-up view.

Processing  has to take into account the final framing of the object. Indeed , a large view will need more sharpening to make fine details appearing. As the contrary, close-up framing will need a softer approach to keep natural detail at its optimal appearance.

I totally reworked the cebnter core of the galaxy to keep the colors and the detail at the maximum of the resolution of the acquisition (FWHM< 1.6")
tell me what you think ?

RGB new set of data :
Red 18subs@420s -15°C gain high
Green 20 subs@300s -15°C gain high
Blue 20 subs@300s -15°C gain high

Light 165subs@180s -15°C, gain high

Many thanks to all the ATRIA Team and Franck Jobard from Deep Sky Chile  for all the work done to deliver this first light with this CDK17 from Chile.

FWHM was particularly good, but nonetheless, I selected the best 40 luminance frames from 165 with a FWHM  below <1.6" to enhanced the brighest part of the galaxy and the Lum image.
It gives back a very crisp image and nice fine details.

Red 12 subs@300s -15°C gain high
Green12 subs@300s -15°C gain high
Blue 12 subs@300s -15°C gain high

Light 165subs@180s -15°C, gain high

NGC 1365 is barred spiral galaxy and most beautiful member of Fornax cluster.
