Description

Located on the outskirts of the Large Magellanic Cloud(LMC) in the constellation Dorado lies N11, a large emission nebula. Considered to be the second biggest and second most star forming nebula in the LMC, first being the Tarantula Nebula. It spans 1,000 light years across and is home to a number of NGC objects.
