Here we have a little window into a few subjects located within The Seagull Nebula (IC2177). I was inspired to do this by a fine image by Dave
@hbastro that had displayed a couple of interesting potential subjects for a longer focal length effort. You can see his image here

In this frame we have NGC2327 which is a rather small reflection nebula which look as if it is superimposed over a patch of dark nebula and two van den Bergh subjects, one a round patch of molecular hydrogen (vdB90) and another which appears to be a cluster within some more molecular hydrogen.
So the thought here was to see if some interesting things can be found within bigger and more familiar structures like The Seagull Nebula.
I did this one with an Antlia 4.5nm Hα filter and an Antlia 3nm Oiii filter. I was highly impressed, especially with the Oiii filter which produced no discernable (to my eye) halos. I would have like to have done more Oiii work but time did not allow that as the rain has returned to The Valley of the Sun.
In any case, this sort of opened my eyes to a whole new group of subjects that might be in the range of a longer focal length instrument like the C9.25. I also have done the field work for vdB95 which is located in the same nebula and like this subject, caught my attention while looking at Dave's image. Still need to process that one but looks like another interesting subject.
