Description

M17, AKA the Omega Nebula or Swan Nebula. Looks more like a crab to me at this angle, but I guess that name was taken!

Shot in spite of super-hazy skies. SHO nebula with RGB stars added in. It is remarkable how far you can push deconvolution when you remove stars first.
