Description

NGC 1907 is an open star cluster around 4,500 light years from Earth. It contains around 30 stars and is over 500 million years old. With a magnitude of 8.2 it is visible as part of the constellation Auriga.

1907 has lots of friends both star friends and Ha friends and lives in nice star field.

I decide try make some images with longer exposures and thus fewer completed images overall (why this just occur to me after 3 years a bit mysterious).

This 3 x 300 seconds Ha combined with 3 x 300 seconds in each R,G and B plus synthetic luminance (see below).

After do original Johny was very kind send me a note suggesting use Fitswork to make a L channel and add that to the the image which really improve final result posted here.
