Description

The four main H-alpha emission nebulae within the Sagittarius Region of the MW are clearly visible (the magenta areas within the Sagittarius bulge).

The Rho Ophiuchi Cloud Complex is on the right side of the frame. Strands of Dark nebulae flow from Rho and forms one of the front legs of The Dark Horse Nebula which can be seen rearing over the silo.

The Blue Horsehead Nebula (IC 4592) can be seen above and to the right of the Rho Ophiuchi Complex. These elements form the head and shoulder of the constellation Scorpius (The Scorpion).
