Description

Last Monday I collected 182 40-second subs of luminance (2 hours total), from my backyard observatory under an almost full moon. I used short subs to avoid saturation of the core. Then, I combined the result with a color image with lesser resolution from 2015, acquired with a DSLR from better skies (https://astrob.in/211507/C/). The result turned out decent, after putting a big fight to control background noise.

Although this GC belongs to the Milky Way, the object is escorted on the left by NGC 121 (a GC in the Small Magellanic Cloud), and on the right by star cluster Kron 3 (not sure if it is open or globular).
