Description

The Eagle Nebula in Serpens.

Hubble Pallet: SHO = RGB.

The inner parts of the nebula (cyan hues) is more hydrogen and oxygen-rich and sulphur deficient, whilst the outer parts of the nebula (yellow/green/red hues false colour hues) is more sulphur and hydrogen dominated with lesser oxygen signature in the gas cloud.
