Description

Mosaic made from 2 images.
This montage allows to appreciate simultaneously two particularly remarkable sites of this northern region of the Sea of Rains (Mare Imbrium), on the left the dark crater Plato and on the right the magnificent Gulf of Iris (Sinus Iridium).
These two structures are separated by a straight wall, in the center of the image (Montes Recti), which stretches for nearly 90 km with a high point at 1800 m.
