Iris Nebula and Eclipsing Binary FN Cep

Due to inconsistent sky conditions, only 1h exposure time.
The total time of the session was 1h 40' with 40 minutes gap in between. (clouds)
The image is full frame, slightly cropped the stacking margins.

I decided to look for variable stars, and to my surprise I found one :-)
Among about 2500 stars only this one has that characteristic, well defined light curve .
I could identify it as eclipsing binary FN Cep (β Persei-type (Algol) eclipsing system)
Period 2.454 d
Rise/eclipse duration : 8% (5 h)
J2000 coordinates : 20 52 44.30 +68 05 46.2

β Persei-type (Algol) eclipsing systems. Binaries with spherical or slightly ellipsoidal components. It is possible to specify, for their light curves, the moments of the beginning and end of the eclipses. Between eclipses the light remains almost constant or varies insignificantly because of reflection effects, slight ellipsoidality of the components, or physical variations. Secondary minima may be absent. An extremely wide range of periods is observed, from 0.2 to ≥10000 days. Light amplitudes are also quite different and may reach several magnitudes.
