Sharpless 2-112, SH2-112, is a hydrogen emission nebula in Cygnus, very close to the tail star of Cygnus the Swan, Deneb. It is 5,600 light years from Earth. The ionising star for this nebula is the O8V class multiple BD+45 3216 (SAO 49801).
