Description

The previous image I put up did not include the O-III since it seemed to remove detail. I was discussing this a little with Riedl Rudolf and realized there might be a solution combining a couple processing techniques and it worked out, so I am going to detail what I did for future reference.

I took the O-III and added it to the R and B channels using Rob's formulae (72% to the Green and 88% to the Blue). This uses normalized linear images. I tried to do the same with the HA to the Red channel at 100% and the image was blown out.

So what I did was i took the color corrected "Teal" RGB version of this and added in the HA the same was as I add it in for the Sharpless Objects. This means in Photoshop 20-40% of the HA is added to the Red channel and then the HA is also added as a false L.

In any case, this separated the HA signal from the O-III and you can blend in the HA with a slider in PS to make sure the signals are comparable.

HDRM was done separately on the O-III and HA images with different wavelets.

No processing in 3D LUT as this was bright enough.
