Description

Stacked image of Crab Nebula (M1). When zooming in to the pulsar region, one can see (weak) concentric structures right-hand below the pulsar (ripples known from time lapse displays). One might also see a tornado-like structure like a tube right-hand of the pulsar, not in the direction of the jet, but north to south w.r.t. image orientation, and a funnel-like structure upper-right from the pulsar.
