Description

This reflection nebula is located 1000 light years away in the constellation of Perseus at a declination of +32 degrees.  It spans 6 arc-minutes in our apparent view.  This corresponds to a width of 1.5 light years.  The central star is the 7.3 magnitude orange star HD 21110.

This object is the 12th entry in the vdB reflection nebula catalog.  It lies less than 1 degree west of its famous neighbor, NGC 1333.
