I began my journey with astrophotography in November of 2020 shortly after arriving in Utah. It has become something I cherish doing and love to share with friends and family. I have met some other local photographers and we have a great time travelling to the many dark skies in the beautiful state of Utah. It's amazing how learning of the cosmos all around us and being able to capture objects of a scale that difficult to comprehend has changed the way I look at things. It's therapeutic to be out in the dark of the night and look to see all the things you never thought you would see. The mechanic in me loves the process of it all. The setup, imaging, calibration, takedown, and all the little adjustments necessary to get everything just right.
