Das Amos-Observatory befindet sich auf der Gerlitzen in Kärnten in einer Seehöhe von ca. 1600m. Der Verein beschäftigt sich mit Astrofotografie und bietet ganzjährig Führungen an.

Unser Schwerpunkt liegt in der Astrofotografie und in Sternführungen für Astronomie Interessierte. Wir möchten einem möglichst breiten Publikum die Möglichkeit geben Astronomie selbst zu erleben und mit eigen Augen live im Teleskop die Ringe des Saturns, die Wirbelstürme am Jupiter, weit entfernte Galaxien, Supernovae und längst erloschene Sterne zu beobachten.
