Live on a Bortle 2.5 rural Pacific Northwest farm, near where Oregon, Idaho, and Washington meet. Sky is usually cloudy, rainy, snowy, or filled with forest fire smoke. When it's not, it's stellar (pun intended, but it is very dark here and it's lovely). When it's clear, I take photos of space. When it's cloudy I take pictures of birds, cows, sheep, our garden, cats, etc.

I'm retired, have a bunch of hobbies, this is one. Started doing astro with scope and EQ mount in Aug 2022.
