Since high school I have been into photography in general, using my father's 1972 Nikon F2 and mostly black and white film, which I developed and printed myself in my homebuilt darkroom in my parents' garage. Thirty-five years later (and after relying on smartphones as my only practical camera) I bought a Nikon Z6 and soon after moved from a Bortle 9 city to a Bortle 3 - 4 desert area to live and hopefully turn my camera to the night sky. I'm in the process of acquiring my astrophotography gear and hope to share my more successful images here.
