I've always been fascinated by the night skies, thanks in a big way to the classic science fiction TV shows of the '60's & 70's.
Shows like "Lost In Space" & "Star Trek" ghot me infatuated with the stars & objects.
I realized my dream in August of 2013 & purchased a Celestron Nexstar 127 SLT Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope.
I image mainly with my Celestron Neximage 5 camera but I also have an Orion StarShooter IV mainly for lunar imaging & a modified Phillips SPC900.
Then came the barrage of accessories, all part of the deal for such a great hobby!
