I started doing astrophotography in early 2019 with a reflector telescope from SkyWatcher. I have to drive out of town to image, because I can't do it from home unfortunately, so this is a little bit of an extra challenge for me, but it's totally worth it.
It got quite a lot easier once I switched to a small refractor for most of my photography. I heard it before that it's better to start out with one, but of course I didn't listen to that. It's still nice to have a big reflector for viewing the planets though.
And now I think I'm ready to share some of the few images I captured over the past 2 years. Surely my images will probably never be as nice as some of the other astrophotographers on here, but it would still be great to participate a bit more with other fellows in this otherwise pretty lonely hobby.
