Dropped film and bit into the digital age in 2000 with a Starlight Xpress MX516 to do some supernova seraching, then various other SBIG cameras since then. Now use an AtikOne6, and ASI071MC, ASI294MC, and QHY168C and Canon DLSR's for colour imaging at Leyburn 3 hours west of home, and the AtikOne6 for supernova searching at home at Runaway Bay, Queensland.
I operate the "Runaway Bay Observatory" at home, 14" Meade on an EQ8 for SN searching as part of the Backyard Observatory Supernova Search team (BOSS). Located at Runaway Bay, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia

Colour images are taken with a variety of instruments and CCD cameras at my other observatory known as "Leyburn Dusty Downs Observatory", under dark and clean skies located near the small town of Leyburn about 220km south west of Brisbane.
The BOSS website is a record of supernova discoveries made by the BOSS team over the last few years. See here http://bosssupernova.com/
