I studied physics, specialized in plasma diagnostics (Ph.D.), and am now working in an intermational optics company.
Astronomy has always been an interesting topic for me, and there were quite some points of close contact during university. I heard lectures, read some books. My father knew every constellation with latin star names and regularly visited the local observatory. However, i only came to astro photography after going for Polar Lights, and to that purpose invested in some photographic gear.
