Professional biologist by day, amateur astronomer by night, dad all the time. In Northern Coastal California for the moment, among the redwoods- thus I only have a small piece of visible sky on the few clear nights we get.

Interested in galaxies, nebulae, comets. Since my equipment is reaching an appropriate quality, I'd like to dive into spectrophotometry, comet/asteroid hunting, and specialty narrowband imaging. Citizen science is more important than most astrophotographers have yet realized!
