I have always been interested in space and astronomy. As well as flying. I am now a retired officer in the Swedish Defence Forces. There I served as a helicopter pilot, test leader and test engineer for the Defence Materiel Administration.
I have a small (2x3 m) backyard observatory. Where I live at 65 deg North we have two seasons. "Deep Sky season" from October to mid April. "Solar season" during the rest of the year.
