Hello, my name is Marcus Wienecke i was born 23rd October 1973 in Unna and i lived in the beginning here in Unna near Dortmund in Germany. Since 2009 i have been living in Stentrop, a small settlement near Fröndenberg on the border to Sauerland Germany, for 12 years. I have been fascinated by space since my childhood and wanted to be an astronaut or astronomer as a child, but it was only in the year 2000, after the 1999 solar eclipse over Germany, that I got more involved with astronomy as a hobby. Since then I have had quite a bit of equipment and have already been able to call two garden retractable roof observatories my own. Astrophotography in particular really appealed to me and I'm still as fascinated as I was as a child when I could see the great pictures in the astro books and can even top them with the modern recording technology.
