Astro Project Brazil© é um projeto de astrofotografia entre o fotógrafo profissional americano Dennis Asfour (NYIP) e o astrônomo amador brasileiro Lucas Ferreira (UnB/FUP), que busca ensinar astronomia partindo da fotografia (Astrofotografia), onde utilizam Arte e Fotografia para fazer uma ponte entre o belo e o científico, do admirar ao aprender.

O objetivo do projeto é captar o Céu de Brasília e do Distrito Federal com o cunho de mostrar, ao público, que o Céu brasiliense tem muito a oferecer, com toda sua beleza, magnitude e complexidade. Além de ensinar Ciências, trabalhando a interdisciplinaridade, com os resultados obtidos.

Entre fotos, saídas de campo, equipamentos, processos de captura, processamento etc. essa aventura científica vem mudando os olhos dos observadores em relação ao Céu da Capital Federal. Englobando, também, o bioma Cerrado em todo seu contexto e biodiversidade.
