I've had a lifelong interest in astronomy. My Dad introduced me to the universe when I was 5 years old laying on a blanket and looking up at the stars. I got a little 2.4" Sears refractor in junior high and built a complete 8" reflector from scratch in high school. Received a physics degree with the intention of getting an advanced degree in astronomy. Life happened and those plans changed. Started astrophotography in January of 2020 with the purchase of a Takahashi TSA120, DSLR and EQ6-R; and more recently, a TEC140ED scope, 10Micron mount and QHY600M cam.
