I've been involved seriously with astrophotography since January, 2020. I got my first telescope when I was in my teens, and studied it a little in university. I had to sell my beloved telescope when I went to university. I never had time when I began my career in archaeology with a focus on ancient ecology in China, Japan, and Eastern North America. I'm retired now, enjoying the freedom to pursue this amazing hobby. I occasionally lecture on archaeoastronomy, but I've never done any field research related to the topic.
