I'm a semi-retired Physicist. I work part time as a consultant for various Space Science institutions doing computational physics projects. With more time on my hands I'm starting an Astrophotography hobby. Last time I owned a telescope was in 1975! Recently I purchased a Stellarvue SVX 70T. I'm using a modded Nikon D5300 DSLR as my sensor for now. Back in the 70's it was all about film and not nearly as exciting as it is now with all the new technology. But alas, it is much more expensive to do good astrophotography work today.
