Astronomy was a boyhood hobby of mine. My children showed an interest, so we purchased a Celestron NexStar 8se a few years ago. With the wide availability / relatively low cost of astrophotography accessories and DSLR cameras, astrophotography followed as a natural extension of our astronomy interest. We have been having a great time ever since!
