I live in Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA. I am retired from the computer industry. Prior to that, I served in the US Air Force for 8 years. Over the years, I have enjoyed designing and building various electro/mechanical systems in my working career. Among my hobby interests, I have enjoyed designing and building telescopes, remote robotic observatories, and doing astro-imaging. The 24" RC telescope and Fork mount are my latest large scale projects.

For over 30 years, I enjoyed flying General Aviation aircraft, and building Experimental aircraft, which included a high-performance turboprop aircraft, and a 2 place helicopter. My days of flying real aircraft are over... Currently, I now enjoy flying a self-built full-scale Boeing 737-800 Flight Simulator with 6dof full-motion platform.

Concerning astrophotography... I enjoy CCD Imaging with the my new 24" RC/Fork Mount, with its narrow FOV. Since I am not a professional astronomer; my main goal/interest with astrophotography is to image deep space objects, and display them with a degree of technical artistry.
