Description

Here is my attempt at the California Nebula.

This is a very nice emission nebula located approximately 1,000ly from us in Perseus.

I did this one on the first night after 3 straight days of rain and I ran into dew issues. Dew is not a common problem in the desert so I am not prepared for dealing with it.

Stay tuned for more on this one... if the weather gods permit of course.

Anyway, the HyperStar continues to impress and any comments/criticism are welcome...

Clear Skies to all!

Mike

Description: Here we have this with Oiii added. This shows explicitly the problem with reflections. I will try RGB and see what happens but I believe that filters and HyperStar do not get along.
