Description

The record posted here corresponds to the Rho Ophiuchi Complex and the Blue Horse Head Nebula, as well as other adjacent nebulae. It comprises, in the zodiacal constellation of Scorpio, the cephalothorax and the claws of that arachnid. This is my biggest challenge so far (in my still very short life as an astrophotographer) in terms of image acquisition and, mainly, in processing. It is a very difficult region to process, this being the eighth processing of a set of frames obtained during the XII Brazilian Meeting of Astrophotography, held in Padre Bernardo / GO - Brazil, in June and July 2019, in my first participation in the event, which is annual. It is still far from my record that I can consider definitive of this region of heaven. I still have a lot to learn. The road is long, but I celebrate each step, however small it may be.
